Howl & Hike is a fun walk presenting dog owners the opportunity to spend a Sunday
afternoon with their best friend while at the same time, helping to change
the lives of the dogs and cats awaiting adoption at Noah’s Ark.

Come join hundreds of people and their canines at Horseshoe Lake for a 1+-mile walk or a
1+-mile stroll - or simply come and enjoy the entertainment, delicious food, training
demonstrations, and showcase of many rescue groups and vendors. This is a great
socializing opportunity for attendees and their friendly canine companions.

The success of this event depends of the number of people who walk with us and collect pledges.
Since this is a pledge walk, it is important to ask friends, co-workers and neighbors to sponsor you.
But PLEASE don’t stop there - all monies you raise provide essential funds to continue our efforts.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING HOWL & HIKE A BIG SUCCESS!
2009 Howl and Hike was a huge success. With a record number of attendees, we were able to raise over $15,000 dollars. We also had a record number of pet costumes to judge this year as 64 dogs arrived dressed to impress in their costumes. Attendees also had a chance to visit over 20 vendors who also attended to give out information on various things such as pet grooming and proper pet care. The weather and atmosphere made this year’s Howl and Hike a huge success.
